DIRECTED by James McTeigue, the action thriller Survivor stars Milla Jovovich (pictured) and Pierce Brosnan.
She plays Kate Abbott, a US State Department employee charged with stopping terrorists from getting in the US, newly posted to the US embassy in London.
Turns out she is very good at a her job of looking over visa applications and when she starts poking into the background of seemingly innocent Dr Emil Balan (Roger Rees) she stumbles onto a conspiracy and becomes a target for the terrorists.
Discredited, she is forced to go on the run while she tries to clear her name and stop a large-scale terrorist attack set for New Year’s Eve in Times Square.
Brosnan in a rare villain role plays The Watchmaker, an international assassin brought in to stop her, but this is Jovovich we are talking about and she goes on the run.
