IT is well known in the corridors of Yash Raj that Parineeti Chopra (pictured) is Rani Mukerji’s favourite and that Rani sees a resemblance of her own spunky spirit in Parineeti.
So it comes as no surprise to know that like Rani after Saathiya, Parineeti is taking a break after Kill Dil.
By a strange coincidence both Saathiya and Kill Dil were directed by Shaad Ali.
“Just before the release of Saathiya, Rani confessed to me that she wanted to take a break… until she saw audiences’ reaction to Shaad’s film,” said a source.
“Parineeti sounds exactly like Rani did just before the release of Saathiya, when she says: ‘After Kill Dil releases, I will take a break. I won’t be seen on screen for maybe nine to 10 months.”
Parineeti admits she’s reading a lot of scripts: “I may sign something soon. But I first want to see the audiences’ reaction to my performance in Kill Dil before deciding what do next.”
In the meantime, Parineeti has other plans: “I am taking a two-week holiday to meet my best friends in Karachi and Dubai.” – BollywoodHungama
