Chris Brown and his entourage are allegedly “persons of interest” in a third degree assault case.

The 26-year-old singer and his staff are being sought after by police following allegations they “forcibly” threw a woman off his tour bus in Colorado on 14 September because she refused to give up her mobile phone.

The incident reportedly kicked off outside Platinum 84 Gentleman's Club in Denver, where Chris, French Montana and Fetty Wap were shooting for a new music video.

The unnamed woman, who was not part of the production team for the video, has filed a report for third degree assault and has claimed her mobile phone was broken in the scuffle.

According to gossip website TMZ, police want to talk to Chris and his team after CCTV footage from outside the venue emerged of the woman departing the bus.

Meanwhile, it's believed the 'Loyal' hitmaker recently hired more security to ensure nothing happens on his 'One Hell Of A Nite' tour while he's caring for his daughter Royalty.

Chris was recently granted temporary joint custody of his 15-month-old daughter with her mother Nia Guzman.

The pair will rotate custody of Royalty every four days and have also been ordered to take part in mediation to work out a permanent custody agreement. However, if they fail to come to terms, Chris and Nia will have to go to court where a trial will determine long-term custody plans.

Nia previously requested full custody, claiming Chris' parenting and lifestyle aren't conducive to raising a child.
