Our music-loving nation and one of its brightest stars, DJ Black Coffee, have been honoured at one of the world’s longest-running awards shows.
On Wednesday, SoulCandi posted a congratulatory message to its artist. ”Well done to Black Coffee taking home the ‘Breakthrough In Association with Mixcloud’ Award at the 2015 Ibiza DJ Awards last night. We are also proud to announce that South Africa wins ‘Dance Nation of the Year’ Award! We’re EXTREMELY proud this morning!” they wrote.
Founded by Jose Pascual and Lenny Krarup, the annual event, held on the Mediterranean island of Ibiza, was created to “honour and celebrate DJs and individuals who have influenced electronic dance music across the globe”.
