KZNSA Gallery (tonight) and Rainbow Restaurant (Sunday)

JAZZ fans are in for a treat as celebrated jazz pianist Andile Yenana (pictured) will be on stage at the KZNSA Gallery tonight. And for those you who miss his

gig tonight, you can catch him on Sunday at the Rainbow Restaurant and Jazz Club in Pinetown.

According to a press release, Yenana has collaborated with many well known South African and international artists and developed a long association with the late Zim Ngqawana.He also worked as arranger for Sibongile Khumalo, Gloria Bosman and Suthukazi Arosi.

Yenana specialises in African jazz and has performed around the world including at the Royal Albert Hall, London, UK, and the Nantes Fin de Siecle Festival in France. He won a South African Music Award for Best Producer for his work

on Abantwana be Afrika with Winston Mankunku Ngozi.

Yenani will perform with Leon Scharnick on tenor sax; Sazi Dlamini on guitar; bassist Prince Bulo and drummer Kgosietsile Paki Peloeolo. – Tonight Reporter
