GIG OF THE WEEK:

ELVIS BLUE IN KZN

Various venues (this weekend)

IF YOU’RE a big Elvis Blue fan, then you’re in luck, as the 2010 Idols winner makes his way to KwaZulu-Natal this weekend.

Tonight he plays at the Three Cities Alpine Resort in Bergville. On Sunday, he’ll be at Drakensberg Sun in Central Drakensberg, Winterton, and on Monday at

The Falls Rest in Howick.

Elvis tore up the road while on tour for his previous two albums, Elvis Blue and Journey. Both garnered accolades and broke records in terms of sales.

Now fans have an opportunity to see another side of Elvis on his first Afrikaans album and its supporting tour.

The album reached gold status shortly after its release and has already achieved wide acclaim – including South African Music, Tempo and Ghoema Awards.

With this tour he continues his relationship with his fans by performing for them in their home towns.

“I am deeply grateful for the support I have received since I came out with my first album. I also love touring, because it gives the opportunity to interact with audiences on a more personal level,” he says.

This is an ideal opportunity for English-speaking fans to see a different side of Elvis Blue in an intimate setting. – Tonight Reporter
