Amanzimtoti SPCA

Music at the River (Tonight)

Attend an event that supports a good cause when the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals hosts Amanzimtoti SPCA – Music at the River.

Taking place tonight at the Amanzimtoti Civic Centre, four bands will play and the proceeds will go towards food and blankets for the animals. The bands are Loadshedder, Manuvah to Land, Gus Brown and Fool of Fate.

Loadshedder is a four-piece funk rock band comprised of Steven Edy (vocals, guitar), Leonard Ross (drums), Shaun Pitout (lead guitar) and Lea Demmer (bass guitar).

Fools of Fate is a relatively new band that have performed at various festivals and venues and shared the stage with aKing, Finley Quaye, Ard Matthews and What Now.

Manuvah to Land is comprised of Durran Trevisan (guitar), Jason Graham (vocals, guitar), Grant van der Linde (drums) and James Harris (bass). They have rock/ reggae flavour and have opened for international acts.

The event is will be held on the outer grass area of the Civic centre. Families are welcome and urged to bring cooler boxes and blankets. Pet food, blankets, animal toys and monetary donations will be generously accepted .
