Metallica had the audience at the Bellville Velodrome in Cape Town banging their heads on Wednesday night, from the moment they exploded on stage with their opening number Hit the Lights.
The set list, which included old favourites like Master of Puppets and For Whom the Bell Tolls, metal ballads such as The Unforgiven, and hardcore thrash metal Blackened had Metallica fans screaming for more.
