DJ FRESH AND FRIENDS
Nicci Beach, Boksburg (Sunday)
ANYONE who knows a thing or two about the entertain-ment industry in Joburg will know that come early January, most of gigs seem
to die down.
While we party throughout December, sometimes going to live performances, it is also the artists’ busiest time so come January 1, they press Ctrl, Alt, Del on their careers and enter a state of relaxation and unwinding.
Yet while we may not have the usual number of gigs that we would like, there are some die-hard artists who are still on the clock. DJ Fresh is
one such artist who will be performing on Sunday in the All About Sundays – Nicci Beach Reunion at Nicci Beach (Wild Waters Complex, 1 Margaret St, Bardene, Boksburg).
The man was working on the last day of last year in the Fresh Year’s Eve event in Kliptown and while his peers are taking a break, he starts the year with a bang.
It will be great to hear his classics and the newer material he has been working on. Joining him on stage will be an array of DJs including Mari Ferrari, Mark Stent, Tashy d’Agrela, Pretty Filthy, Ricardo da Costa, Household Funk, Nick Essential, Bobstar Delux and Vin Groovin.
