London - The Parlotones have postponed the remainder of their “Unplugged Winter Tour” until further notice.

The multi-platinum selling rock band were forced to call off all performance and promotional dates due to the vocal cord damage suffered by lead singer Kahn Morbee, reports the TimesLive website.

Morbee will have undergo surgery to repair the damage.

The band will announce new tour dates once Morbee has fully recovered.

Fans who purchased tickets to see the band live will be fully refunded.

The Winter Unplugged tour featured the Parlotones playing a selection of their hits, as well as their latest music, at a selection of venues around the country.

Since their formation in 1998, the band have won a number of awards, particularly for their innovative use of music videos. In 2010, they won the SAMA for Best Rock Album for Stardust Galaxies. - Tonight Reporter
