Naomi Campbell is sparing no expense for her billionaire boyfriend’s 50th birthday party.
According to the Daily Mail, the former supermodel is planning one of the most star-studded parties of the year for Vladimir Doronin, hiring out the entire 15th century Mehrangarth Forth in Jodhpur, India, for the occassion.
The festivities kick off today, and a high-profile guest list – which includes the likes of Kate Moss, Sarah Ferguson and Diana Ross – has jetted in to enjoy a 007 Bond-style theme.
Staff have been working day and night to get the huge venue ready for the lavish event. The rooms in the fort have been decorated in keeping with Rajastani themes. The main room has been styled with bright colours, comfortable beds and scatter cushions, while another room offers a more understated look, with cream and white beds lining the walls.
The outside of the historic site, which was also used to film scenes for the Batman movie The Dark Knight Rises, will be lit up in pink and yellow. A fireworks display will round off the festivities.
Party guests received Bond-style invites, featuring images of Doronin underwater. The main party room also features a giant portrait of Campbell and her beau under the title For Your Eyes Only.
Ross is scheduled to give a performance on the night, with a reported £500 000 being paid to secure her services.
Campbell’s guests were housed at the exclusive Umaid Bhawan Palace hotel, with many invitiees arriving days before the function to take advantage of the sumptuous hospitality.
Campbell and Doronin have been an item since 2008 and are known for throwing lavish parties for each other.
