London - Ed Sheeran couldn't stop laughing at the Victoria's Secret fashion show after Ariana Grande told him she loves "big black balls".
The 'Thinking Out Loud' hitmaker has revealed the 21-year-old singer made the admission as the pair chatted during the event earlier this month as giant inflatable spheres fell around them.
The 23-year-old star - who performed on the runway alongside the 'Break Free' singer, Taylor Swift and Hozier during the star-studded show - was spotted in hysterics as he exchanged words with the brunette beauty, who alspo performed at the show.
Ed has now admitted he isn't sure if the former Disney star was aware she had made an innuendo with her comical comment.
In an interview with Z100, he said: "Can I tell you why I was laughing? Basically there were all these big inflatable bouncy black balls that are bouncing around in the crowd on the finale bit.
"Ariana Grande comes up and stands up next to me and just looks at me and goes, 'I love big black balls.'
"I just burst out laughing, because in my head I was like, 'If she knows what that means then I love her, and if she doesn't know what that means, it's even better.' "
Ed’s response is perfectly logical, in light of Ariana’s relationship with rapper Big Sean.
The couple confirmed they were an item in October and in a candid interview, the 21-year-old songstress has gushed about her rapper boyfriend, describing him as "a sweetheart".
She shared: "I like boys with a bad boy kind of style, but Sean's the best boy I've ever met. He's a sweetheart."
She told Now magazine: "I'm not that open... I'm still a little shy about it. But I am very happy and very loved-up."
Ariana has previously dated Nathan Sykes from The Wanted and internet comedian Jai Brooks.
Meanwhile, Big Sean was formerly engaged to 'Glee' actress Naya Rivera.
The couple have been coy about the status of their relationship for the most part, but in an interview with Ryan Seacrest in September, the 26-year-old hip-hop star couldn't hide his admiration of Ariana.
He said: "That Ariana is very, very special. She's very special to me.
"Everything she has going on is good with her, everything I have going on is good with me, everything between me and her is good, and I'm just going to leave it at that."
