Bobbi Kristina Brown's boyfriend Nick Gordon has wished her a happy 22nd birthday.
The aspiring singer and daughter of Bobby Brown and the late Whitney Houston has been in a coma since she was found unresponsive in a bathtub at her home in Atlanta on January 31, but her boyfriend admitted he wished he could be with her on her birthday.
In a post on his Twitter account on Wednesday, he wrote: "Happy Birthday baby. I wish I was there with you to hold you and be by your side."
The 25-year-old star also revealed he'd been watching the 'The Hobbit' film franchise in order to feel closer to his girlfriend.
Posting a picture of his TV on Tuesday, he said: "I have the best publicist in the world @Joseycrews @REALbkBrown I am watching the hobbit 2-3 our fav movie baby.
"I'm Close to you baby (sic)."
However, just hours before he appeared to claim he was having suicidal thoughts, writing: "I'm so hurt I wanna do myself in, I know I have to strong (sic)."
Nick - who was unofficially adopted by Bobbi's mother Whitney when he was 12-years-old - has reportedly been banned from visiting his girlfriend by her father Bobby.
He recently claimed his girlfriend's father is only interested in the money that was left to her by her mother Whitney.
He said on Twitter previously: "Crazy how all the Browns came to the hospital when this went down. I've been with her 24/7 watching over her and mom. Bobby left when it got heavy.
"Bobby seen his daughter 4 time in the last 5 yrs
"Now him and his family want Whitney's $$$ which belongs to Krissi or Cissy (sic)"
Nick and Bobbi claimed they had got married last year but Bobbi's father's lawyer revealed after she was put into a coma that they never legally tied the knot.
Meanwhile, Bobby has organised a special bedside vigil .in honour of the occasion, as his daughter continues to fight for her life.
The 46-year-old R&B star has invited several members of her extended family to join him at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta.
A source claims that while relatives of Bobbi Kristina's late mother Whitney Houston have been at the hospital every day, Bobby and his wife have been the only family members allowed access to the aspiring actress and singer's private room up until now.
The insider told gossip website TMZ.com that the 'My Prerogative' hitmaker arranged for an exception to be made because he wants everyone to be together for his daughter's birthday.
Doctors attempted to bring Bobbi Kristina out of a medically-induced coma last week, but were forced to abandon their efforts after she reportedly started having seizures.
A source close to the family previously admitted: "This is a horrible setback. Everyone was hopeful that this was the sign that she'd turned the corner. We were so optimistic.
"Bobby is taking this so hard; he was sure this was going to be a good day. But please, everyone needs to pray for Krissi. I don't care what religion you are, or if you have no religion at all. Send your thoughts, your prayers, your well-wishes. Send everything you've got. Please."
