Caitlyn Jenner’s not this Guy’s Choice...

Clint Eastwood poked fun at Caitlyn Jenner - who was known as Bruce Jenner before her gender transition - at Spike's Guys' Choice Awards on Saturday.

The 85-year-old filmmaker poked fun at the former Olympian while introducing award winner Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson to the stage at Saturday's ceremony at California's Sony Pictures Studio, but the gag reportedly fell flat.

Clint compared the wrestler-turned-actor to former athletes who have become actors, “like Jim Brown and Caitlyn Somebody...”

However, the network have confirmed the joke will be axed when the ceremony is broadcast on June 18.

David Schwarz, Spike TV senior vice president of communications, told USA Today: “We will remove the reference in the version that will air.”

Decade of Hotness award winner actress Salma Hayek said that she appreciates being described as “hot” more as she gets older.

The 48-year-old actress felt uncomfortable being described as a 'Bombshell' in her 1992 movie 'Desperado' because she wanted to be known more for her talents than her looks but enjoys attracting attention for her appearance now.

She told reporters: “When you start you're like, 'No, I want them to see me for my talent, and know me as an actress.'

“[When I did 'Desperado'], my English was worse than now and I read the reviews that, 'Salma Hayek was a bombshell,' and to me this means that I was terrible, that I had bombed. Everyone told me, 'No, no, it means that you're great, that you're sexy!' And [I was like], 'That's it? They didn't talk about my acting?

“Now?! They want to give me a decade of hotness - I'm like, 'Bring it on!' You really like to be 'hot' after you're 40.”

And Salma - who has seven-year-old daughter Valentina with husband François-Henri Pinault - credits her “hotness” to her spouse.

She explained: “You know what makes you 'hot'? When you have the hots for someone.

“I have the hots for my husband, and that keeps you, I think that keeps that in you. When you like somebody it comes out of you, almost naturally, and you're motivated. Love motivates you.”

As well as Salma, the awards - which were presented by 'Empire' star Taraji P. Henson - honoured stars including Chris Pratt, Liam Neeson and Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson.

Spike's Guys' Choice Awards will air on June 18.
