Kanye West will give Kim Kardashian West a £500,000 necklace when she gives birth.
The 'Keeping Up With the Kardashians' star is due to give birth to the couple's second child, a boy, next month, and her rapper husband plans to mark the occasion with a lavish “heirloom” gift she can later pass on to their daughter North, two.
A source told Now magazine: “Kanye is preparing for the birth by shopping for a very expensive gift for Kim.
“He wants to get her a multi-strand black Tahitian pearl necklace and will pay whatever it takes.
“He's told a jeweller he works with he wants an heirloom for Kim to pass down to North and he wants it to be the best quality money can buy.
“The jeweller told him it might cost up to £500,000 but Kanye didn't bat an eyelid.”
Kim recently revealed the 'Stronger' rapper loves to surprise her with date nights because he doesn't enjoy sitting at home “just chilling”.
Discussing their date nights, she said: “He likes to surprise me so I never know what it is!
“He's not the type to really, you know, just chill. He always has something very sweet [for me].”
