Legendary singer Ricardo Groenewald, who became a child star for his hit single "I Love You Daddy", died on Wednesday night after a long battle with cancer.
South Africans took to Twitter in an ooverwhelming show of gratitude for Groenewald’s song that, for many, was the Father’s Day anthem.
It was an inevitable part of set lists at radio stations across the country on that special day of the year.
