Comic Adam Sandler says he was attacked by a cheetah in South Africa.
The US actor was in the country recently to shoot new film Blended with actress Drew Barrymore when he did a safari trip.
The star told TV talk show host David Letterman on Wednesday: “I went there, there were very nice people at this place and they let me in with the cheetah… and said I could feed the cheetah water with my hands, and so I did it… and something went a little bit wrong.”
In a video clip, Sandler can be seen crouching near the water when the cheetah suddenly jumps on his back. A ranger then pulls the cat off him.
“...They said you’re not supposed to bend down low by the water and that’s why he got mad... I played it off real good... [but] I was very nervous,” he explains.
“I swear to God when he jumped on me all I was gonna do was let him eat me, there was not one part of me that was gonna fight back. I was like, ‘Alright, this is how I’m dying’.” - Daily Voice
