Elizabeth Hurley has been warned to "stop playing mum" to her fiance's children.

The model-and-actress has been branded "disrespectful" by Simone Callahan, the ex-wife of her partner, cricketer Shane Warne.

Simone, 42, was responding to rumours her three children with Shane - Brooke, 14, Summer, nine, and 13-year-old son Jackson - have started calling her "mummy two".

She told Australia's Woman's Day magazine: "I can't control what people say, but it's just disrespectful as far as I'm concerned.

"She is not their mum. And the kids know exactly what the situation is."

Ex-model Simone also said she was shocked when she saw the children had taken part in a photo shoot with their father and his new love.

She added: "It's always been important for me to protect the children.

"They're young and impressionable and I've always tried to keep them grounded and ensure life for them is as normal as possible."

She also told of an "awkward" situation when Liz and Shane turned up at her daughter's school, saying: "Shane and Liz turned up - along with a swag of photographers - but we didn't speak at the assembly."

The two women met for the first time around a week ago as they watched Jackson play Australian Rules Football in Melbourne, and all sat together. In one picture Simone appeared to make an angry face at her ex-husband, while Liz looked on into the distance. - Bang Showbiz
