Nick Cannon insists he and Mariah Carey are still on amicable terms.
The America's Got Talent host, who quietly split from the 44-year-old singer over the summer after six years of marriage, claims they still “do everything that we're supposed to do together” for the sake of their three-year-old twins, Moroccan and Monroe.
He said: “We've always been people who are kinda on the go, coming and going, so their life hasn't changed one bit. We spend holidays together, we do everything that we're supposed to do together.”
When asked if their children understand what's going on, he told The Meredith Vieira Show: “They're just happy. They love mommy, they love daddy.”
The heartthrob is coping well and added: “It's truly just staying focused on family and what's right and getting through these times and just doing what's right for the kids.”
Nick recently had the “Mariah” tattoo on his upper back inked over with a new cross design, and while trying to convince the Meredith to get a tattoo on her ankle, he warned: “Don't put anyone's name!” - Bang Showbiz
