Nick Jonas thinks he's "too short" to play James Bond.

The 'Jealous' hitmaker would be keen to star as the lead character in the spy films but thinks his stature would see him miss out on the part.

He said: "I'm a huge James Bond fan. I'm a bit of a Bond geek actually. "I would love to play James Bond. It would be my career highlight but I'm not sure I really fit the character. I'm probably too short and too American. To be honest I'd just love any part in one of the films."

The 22-year-old singer also revealed he would like to provide the theme tune for one of the film's instalments.

He added to the Daily Star on Sunday newspaper: "To follow in the footsteps of people like Adele would be incredible."

Meanwhile, Nick previously revealed he has had to "fight really hard" to be taken seriously as an actor following his eight years in the Jonas Brothers.

He shared: "I met with my team ... and said, 'Look, I wanna be the kind of artist that can do music and acting'. Both are a priority for me and both have been for my whole life.

"I looked for some roles and this part for a TV show called 'Kingdom' came up and I had to fight really hard for it."

He added: "There was a lot of bias towards me; mostly to do with my previous exposure.

"I think being a Jonas in a lot of ways actually hurt me in getting the role but I got it, thankfully, and pushed myself emotionally and physically." - Bang Showbiz
