Emily Blunt would like to be known for something else as well as stardom.
The 31-year-old admits she has a work ethic that makes her well suited to the entertainment sphere, but insists she would love to broaden her skill set.
When it was suggested she is good at stardom, Emily replied: “God, I would like to be good at other stuff, but I know what you mean. Some people are crap at it. And I think I am a good worker. But what I think is that I really love this job, and I’m kind of in love with it, even though it’s not everything that I am.”
While Emily is good in front of a camera, she hasn’t always been a confident public speaker, having suffered with a stutter as a child. She explained: “As a kid I just stopped talking. It got very bad. I listened a lot because that is all I did. Really. And it’s not meant to be a sob story, it was just the reality. Which was that I felt embarrassed to speak in front of people.” - BANG Showiz
