If you’re a fan of Carrie and the gang, hold on to your Manolo Blahnik’s.

It seems a third Sex & the City movie is in the offing. Actress and singer Jennifer Hudson, who played the character Louise in the second movie, recently commented that another instalment of the popular franchise is in the works.

Now Sarah Jessica Parker has seemingly confirmed that statement in a Twitter exchange with co-star Kristin Davis.

When Davis tweeted last week that she missed her co-stars, Parker replied: “Me too you! Heard the news? X”.

To which Davis responded: “Yyyeessssss... But I'm afraid to get TOO excited yet - You let me know when we can celebrate. XO.”

This is the first time the cast members have alluded to a possibility of another Sex & the City film.

Perhaps that is a result of the savaging the second movie took in the press. Even a few die-hard fans admitted that the story had reached its sell-by-date.

Nevertheless, the film grossed $288-million worldwide, and director Michael Patrick King has promised that their may be “one story left to tell”. - Tonight Reporter
