A tearful, hysterical, Paris Hilton thought she was saying goodbye in Dubai, but it was all just an elaborate prank.

Hilton was led to believe that the plane she was flying in during an aerial tour of Dubai, was about to crash.

In reality, the socialite was the unwitting victim of Egyptian TV hoaxer Ramez Galal.

A Youtube clip of the show Ramez in Control shows Hilton at the opening of a new hotel in Dubai. She is then invited onto a plane, along with other passengers, for a 15-minute aerial tour of the city. A few minutes into the flight, however, the pilot starts performing stunts to make it seem as if the plane is crashing.

Hilton and her fellow passengers start to scream in terror as the emergency alarm goes off. One man then opens up the plane’’s side door and tosses out a passenger. Hilton screams: “I don’t want to jump”.

When the plane eventually lands, and Hilton is let in on the joke, she fails to see the funny side.

“I’m going to kill you,” she screams at the host.

Still sobbing, she tells the camera: “I almost thought I was going to die. That's been my biggest fear my whole life, dying in a plane.”

Gazal’s TV stunts take pranking to another, often terrifying level.

After the harrowing experience, she tweeted: "Scariest moment of my life. I really believed the plane was going to crash & we were all going to die.(sic)"

Paris also screamed at the host: "I'm going to kill you."

In one episode of his show, he tricked guests into believing they were being eaten by live sharks.
