Liam Gallagher has reached a “last-minute” child support deal.
The former Oasis star has reportedly agreed to pay more than £3 000 (R53 600) a month to Liza Ghorbani, the mother of his 2-year-old daughter Gemma, a source close to the journalist revealed.
The exact figure, which is confidential, is expected to be about £40 000 a year.
Speaking after the agreement was made, Liza said: “I am just really relieved this ordeal is over for the sake of my daughter.”
Liam – who split from Liza after finding out she was pregnant – did not attend the hearing and the journalist and her legal team are waiting for the original copy of the agreements, signed by the 42-year-old singer, to be sent over from the UK, the New York Post’s Page Six column reports.
Speaking after a decision was made, the judge added: “I am pleased to hear the parties have reached a settlement with all the issues before the court.
