Taylor Swift granted a dying 4-year-old fan’s last wish by speaking to her on the phone for 20 minutes.
The 25-year-old singer made a surprise FaceTime call to Jalene Salinas, who is suffering from an aggressive form of terminal brain cancer, on Monday, to make the youngster’s final dream come true after she expressed a desire to dance with Taylor to her hit, Shake it Off.
Speaking to Jalene’s mother, Jennifer Arriagas, during the phone conversation, she said: “I got back from London and heard about her and it’s just unfathomable to have to watch your baby go through this.”
According to a USA Today report, Jalene was said to be “in pain” and as a result “didn’t talk much” to her heroine but she did say “bye and thank you” to the superstar.
