Lena Dunham has urged her boyfriend to “get on it” and propose to her.
The star sent a public message to urge fun.’s Jack Antonoff to get down on one knee, following the news that it has become legal for same-sex couples to marry in all of the US.
She wrote: “.@jack antonoff Get on it, yo... Woke up to learn that love is free! Thank you to all those who fought so hard to make this historic moment happen. Weddings are about to get a lot less boring.”
The 29-year-old had revealed she wanted to wait until “everyone can join into (marriage) with no sense of being left out on any level” before tying the knot with Jack. She said: “The idea of having a celebration that can’t be fully shared among all the people in my life and all the people that we love just doesn’t really feel like a celebration at all.”
