Sometimes, love and hip hop just don’t mix.
Just two months after rapper Rick Ross proposed to buxom glamour model Lira Mercer, the engagement is reportedly over.
According to gossip site TMZ, Ross - also known as Ricky Rozay - and Mercer were involved in a terrible argument in Atlanta.
“They had a major blowout, although it's unclear what it was about – but it was serious enough that Lira moved her stuff out of Rozay's Georgia mansion,” reported TMZ.
However, a rumour doing the rounds on social media claims the reason for the split is none other than rapper Wiz Khalifa, who, it is claimed, was caught by security cameras visiting Mercer while Ross was away. Adding to the sleazy nature of this arrangement is that Amber Rose, who was married to Khalifa, is one of Mercer’s best friends.

Ross became close to Mercer after she stood by him when he was arrested for kidnapping and assault earlier this year.
He proposed to her while the pair visited a jewelry store, giving her an 11-carat diamond in September this year. Ross, who has been working hard to lose weight, reportedly did not go down on one knee.
The question now is, will Mercer give the ring back? The estimated value is around $350 000.
