Lamar Odom's condition has reportedly deteriorated and he is showing no signs of consciousness.

The 35-year-old basketball player was rushed to hospital on Tuesday after being found unconscious in a Nevada brothel and doctors have reportedly warned his loved ones - including ex-wife Khloe Kardashian, who is keeping a vigil at his bedside - that the longer he remains in the condition he is in, the less likely he is to recover.

Although Lamar squeezed the 'Keeping Up With the Kardashians' star's hand on Wednesday night, medics believe it could have been an involuntary reaction as he is showing no signs of consciousness or improvement.

Meanwhile, the father of Lamar's best friend says the former basketball star had a "death wish".

Guillermo Castillo - whose son Jamie Sangouthai died in June as the result of a flesh-eating bacteria he caught through intravenous drug use - said: “I think Lamar is done. I think most of it is because he missed my son so much.

"I think deep inside they had a death wish, or a wish to die together. It sounds very cold-blooded, but I have a hard time controlling my emotions."

According to TMZ, four of the sportsman's organs, including his kidneys and heart, are failing.

A source told the website: "The doctors are concerned it has been too long that he's been in this condition and now it's not looking good."

Dennis Hof, the owner of the Love Ranch brothel previously revealed Lamar had taken "eight or 10" herbal Viagra pills before his collapse, as well as consuming two thirds of a bottle of cognac which he'd ordered on his arrival at the facility on Saturday.

And a call made to emergency services which has been made public revealed the former LA Lakers star had also taken cocaine on Saturday.

Richard Hunter, the Love Ranch's media director told the emergency operator: "Someone just told me that he had some cocaine on him that he finished on Saturday. Since then he's been alert, conscious and all that."

When the operator asked, "As far as you know, no cocaine since Saturday?", Mr Hunter replied: "That is correct."
