KOSHER SOUL, Lifetime, 8.45pm

Although America is known as a melting pot, it has often been taboo for people from different communities to date. But what happens when two people from different communities mix in the most explosive way? In this comedic series, we’ll explore the answer to that question by following the king of soul style, O’Neal McKnight, and his fiancée (and complete opposite) Miriam Sternoff. While O’Neal is a laid back hip-hop producer, Miriam is a no-nonsense woman from a strict Jewish family who believes strongly in her faith. In an effort to please Miriam, O’Neal has decided to convert to Judaism, much to the dismay of his family and friends.

ALONE FINALE, History, 8.55pm

In one of the boldest survival experiments attempted for TV, 10 men are sent into the wilderness carrying only what they can fit into a backpack. With the competitors dropped into remote areas of Vancouver Island – a place inhabited by bears, cougars and wolves – this series is the ultimate test of man’s will to survive. If the elements don’t get them, the isolation will.
