PREDATOR FAILS, Nat Geo Wild, 6pm

It may come as a surprise that you will have to watch a lion failing four times before it kills successfully, or that orcas are most successful when they operate as a pack, and the black mamba is not always the deadly accurate sniper you would imagine. In this show, there are six filters to gauge each stand-off. Between predator and prey, size, weapons, aggression, teamwork, strategy and speed are the factors that dictate an epic fail or a spectacular success. Once these are tallied, it’s down to circumstances on the ground.
