When a man and a woman claiming to be social workers come to Katy Heath’s house and tell her they need to take away her son Kyle, she complies. But when they fail to return her son and are unknown by social services, DCI Banks is drawn into a search for the missing boy.

• Battle: Nicki Minaj vs Beyoncé vs Rihanna, Channel O, 20.00

Beyoncé steps into the Battle spotlight – this time against Nicki Minaj and Rihanna. With Minaj’s latest album, Anaconda, raising temperatures, Rihanna preparing to top the charts with her eighth studio album and Beyoncé pushing her career to new creative heights, this week’s Battle is unmissable.

Following Slade’s defeat, the Arrow is embraced as a hero by the people of Starling City, and Captain Lance calls off the anti-vigilante task force. Werner Zytle, who has claimed the mantle of Vertigo, attempts to kill Arrow in a bid to raise his profile. After losing the first battle, Oliver and Roy are able to stop Zytle, along with some help from Sara who is back in town.
