JOHNNY Apple, the boy with the incredible voice, became the fourth winner of e.tv’s SA’s Got Talent on Thursday night.

In the final episode, Apple (real name Juan Appelgrein), who hails from George, battled it out with five others.

The show began with an infectious medley by the drumming and piano duo, the Justin Leigh Band, followed by an impressive magic act by a young man who goes by the name Glamipulator.

Fifteen-year-old rapper Danenon Kruger, aka Lil Diezo, amazed with his verse, and 11-year-old singer Nadia van der Westhuizen impressed with a vocally challenging ballad.

Luzuko Namba showed some impressive dance moves,

and the show was aptly closed by the talented Apple.

Apple won R250 000 and a recording contract with Sony. The second and third prizes were a cool R30 000 and R20 000 respectively. - The Star
