Alexander Skarsgard, 38, “wasn’t cool enough” for girls when he was a teenager.

Although the actor is now one of Hollywood’s hottest hunks, he admitted that as a youngster in Sweden he didn’t have much luck with the opposite sex.

He told The Guardian: “When I was a young teenager I didn’t go out much, just hung out at home and played video games. The girls in our class, we weren’t cool enough for them and they found some older dudes with Vespas and moustaches.”

However, Alexander soon made up for it. He added: “My late teens were wilder. I discovered partying.”

Alexander isn’t the only Swede making it big in Hollywood, with Alicia Vikander, Joel Kinnaman and Noomi Rapace among the actors who have found fame.
