Say the word “Disney” and the small folk will probably smile. Add the words “on ice” and those who have experienced this fantasty dream world will stand first in line for tickets.
Disney On Ice presents Worlds of Enchantment, Feld Entertainment’s ice spectacular featuring four stories that showcase many of the beloved characters from Pixar’s Cars, The Little Mermaid, and Toy Story 3, along with Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck and Goofy. And to top this, the cherished characters will be joined by the Frozen stars.
But there’s a bit of a wait. It opens on June 24 next year at Joburg’s Dome, and runs until July 3 and then moves to the Grand Arena, GrandWest, Cape Town from July 6 to 10. But tickets are on sale now at Computicket
We travel to the fantastical world of Arendelle with royal sisters Anna and Elsa from the No 1 animated film, Frozen. Anna, a girl with a big heart, goes on an epic journey with the hilarious snowman Olaf and mountain-man Kristoff to find her sister, the magical Elsa, whose icy powers have trapped the kingdom of Arendelle in an eternal winter.
