Call for Proposals:
Call for proposals for the main programme of the South African State Theatre (April 1, 2015 to March 31, 2016). It offers theatre practitioners the opportunity to present their productions on any of their six stages. The State Theatre will fund successful productions to the tune of R200 000 and will offer the venue for four weeks including move-in; access to wardrobe and décor; marketing, advertising and publicity; 15 percent of gross box office income. National Arts Festival is calling for proposals for the 2015 Main programme which will run July 2 to 12 next year. The second Wakkerstroom Music Bursary Competition, will be held in Wakkerstroom, Mpumalanga, on October 17 and 18. Just Dance Competition 2014, where studios and groups compete for prizes awarded in recognition of a combination of entertainment values and technical accomplishment. Auditions will be held at the Joburg Theatre, also in Soweto and Alexandra next month. Groups must comprise five or more dancers, each work may be no longer than four minutes.
