The third Len van Zyl Conductors’ Competition will take place in 2015/16. Open to South Africans not older than 33 on January 1, 2016. It offers performance opportunities and master classes with international conductors; the semi-finalists and finalists perform with the CPO and the winner receives an all-expenses paid one-month internship with the Philadelphia Orchestra in the US and two months of study at Northwestern University in Chicago with Victor Yampolsky.
