l The Arts and Culture Trust (Act) and Nedbank Arts Affinity (NAA) have announced the list of professional development projects that will receive grants from the trust. For the past 20 years Act, with the support of NAA, have been supporting and promoting sustainable business and careers in the arts. The professional Development Programme supports the development of reliable, sustainable and vibrant arts in South Africa and is designed to support job opportunities, develop arts organisations, associations and collective arts practititioners. The second cylcle of grants boasts 10 deserving receipients for 2015 and spans the country. For more information on grant recipients and the Development Programme, visit www.act.org.za.

Condition Report is a group exhibition that offers visitors a glimpse into the world of curating. Produced by post-graduate students from the Curating Exhibitions course at Wits School of Arts. The exhibition offers a series of responses to rarely seen objects from the Johannesburg Art Gallery (JAG) collection, including German Gothic wooden sculptures, Chinese ceramic roof tiles and Indian temple figures carved in stone.
