Musical Theatre Masterclass:

Primary and high school teachers in Gauteng can apply to attend a two-day musical theatre masterclass on May 3 and 4. National Music Competition

Samro invites entries from music students 13 years and younger. The closing date is April 20. Auditions will start at the beginning of June. About 60 candidates will be selected to compete over four rounds at the Hugo Lambrechts Auditorium in Parow, Cape Town, from September 24 to 28. The four categories: piano, strings, woodwind, brass and other instruments (percussion, recorder, classical guitar and harp) with a sub-category for developmental groups.
