Brawny Hollywood star Sylvester Stallone, best known for action roles like Rocky and Rambo, is striking a literary tone with a new film about author Edgar Allen Poe.
Stallone (58) has written the script and will produce, finance and distribute the film.
He has long been fascinated by Poe, who died in 1849 after producing classic short stories including The Raven and The Fall of the House of Usher. Stallone completed the screenplay for the film in 2002. - Sapa-AFP
