THE ROY COUZENS THEATRE (Westville Boys High School): Timeless: A Musical Showcase of Everlasting Hits celebrates the music of Robbie Williams, Madonna, Cher, Bryan Adams, Michael Jackson, Queen’s Freddie Mercury and more. WESTVILLE COUNTRY CLUB: Brutal Tunes featuring Lisa Bobbert, Anthony Stonier and Andrew Warburton on piano, stages Sunday at 2.30pm and 7pm. Bristling with sharp wit and comedy and over flowing with musical ability. Directed by Caroline Smart, Brutal Tunes features music by Sondheim, Noel Coward and Tom Lehrer. R170 includes main meal. THE PLAYHOUSE: Comedian Carvin H Goldstone returns to the Playhouse in Durban with his one-man show, Coloured President, on Saturday. Xenophobia, statues and hosed-down chicken will not be spared. While the show will explore a variety of national and political issues it is still a clean, no-swearing affair suitable for the whole family. The show enters the political comedy arena with views on South African and world politics, and of course, what South Africa would be like if it had a coloured president. A limited number of tickets on sale for R120 at Computicket. 8pm.
