Music by Jewish composers

The Durban Holocaust Centre in partnership with The Friends of Music and the Embassy of Germany, present Passion and Prejudice: Forbidden Composers – a programme of music by Jewish composers whose music was banned by the Nazis: Mahler, Schoenberg, Berg, Zeisl and Weill.

Music will be performed by Jill Richards (piano) and Peter Lurie (tenor).

Performance takes place on Tuesday at 7.45pm at the Durban Jewish Centre (44 KE Masinga Road) Entrance is R50, payable at the door.
