TAKE That, the UK’s most successful live act, will screen a once-off concert on Wednesday at 8pm at Nu Metro cinemas around the country.

Captured at London’s O2 arena on June 19, the concert was part of a sell-out tour of the UK. The tour sold out as soon as tickets went on sale. They started in Glasgow at the end of April and will resume a European tour at the beginning of October.

Formed in 1990, the boy band originally featured a five-man line up and currently they have reformed as a trio minus Robbie Williams and Jason Orange.

For this concert, Gary Barlow, Howard Donald and Mark Owen take to the stage with everything from dancing jellyfish to beautifully choreographed puppetry, pyrotechnics and indoor rain.

The lead single from their latest album, These Days, went to No 1 on the UK Singles Charts in November and it forms part of the set list, which mostly draws on their original material post 2006.

Take That are the most successful boy band in UK chart history, 15th on the UK list of biggest-selling singles artists. The Take That Live 2015 tour is their ninth concert tour, their first as a trio.

The concert was produced by Take That and long-time collaborator Kim Gavin, who was responsible for the staging of the London Olympics Closing Night Ceremony in 2012.

l The Take That live cinema event will be show at The Glen, Jhb; Clearwater Mall, Jhb; Menlyn Park, Pta; The Pavilion, Dbn; the V&A Waterfront in Cape Town.
