IT’S that time when everyone wants to let loose and release all the pent up tension from the year.
One show offering that opportunity is LMAO by the Dingalings.
Featuring Henry Ramkissoon, Koobeshen Naidoo, Senzo Mthethwa and Neil Green, the show is punted as one that will have you laughing your *ss off!
“LMAO is a stand-up comedy show which has now become an annual end-of-year event,” explained Naidoo. “The name came about for two reasons: first we want you to laugh so hard that bits of anatomy fall off, and second we are also appealing to the younger audience between 18 and 30 years old.”
Naidoo said their comics will do stand-up “interspersed with some lovely, lively dances”.
“We also have some audience interaction that will end up with us roasting some celebrities. It is not a family show and is restricted to over 18s. This annual stand-up has taken on the format of allowing the comics free rein so that they and the adult audience can fully enjoy themselves. Corporates and groups can book as well and we already have some people using this show as the climax to their end-of-year party.”
Ramkissoon comes with his uncensored brand of comedy, Mthethwa with his restrained look at life and Naidoo trying so hard to be sexy and funny at the same time.
“Another regular to our annual comedy is Neil Green with his witty look at life as a bruin ou in Durban. It’s going to be wild and exciting so make a date with us and relax after the exam and work tension,” he said.
