The reasons why former supermodel Kate Moss was kicked off a flight seem to vary depending on who tells the story. What remains undisputed is that Moss, aged 41 and no longer the catwalk queen she once was, will be a diva until the day she dies.

According to Bang Showbiz, Moss threw a strop because the EasyJet flight from Turkey had run out of the sandwiches she wanted.

According to one passenger, Ian Thorne, the lack of culinary options seemed to spark off her anger.

“I was asleep at the back of the plane when she woke me up with her shouting.

“She was sitting at the back with her friend and they were kicking off because the plane had run out of the sandwiches she wanted.

“The flight attendants were taking a break at the back and eating their food when Kate shouted, 'It's f**king all right for them to eat pasta when we're hungry'.

“She kept using bad language and one of the flight attendants seemed upset.”

According to the Daily Mail, however, Moss lost her cool because fellow passengers were taking pictures of her with their cellphones – one of her pet hates. She then picked on the airline staff. The verbal altercation was apparently so bad that staff alerted police to meet the plane as it landed at Luton Airport.

According to one passenger, Moss called the pilot a “basic b**ch” as police escorted her from the plane.

What ever the reason for her moment of madness may be, the irony is that Moss had just returned from a detox session in Bodrum, Turkey. Many eye-witnesses claim, however, that Moss was drunk before the plane even took off for London. A “re-tox” the Daily Mail called it.

One source claims that Moss always celebrates the end of her detox ritual, which costs over R45 000, by going on a bender.

“Kate would have been drinking black tea every morning by the pool and sticking to the detox.

“That's a week-long diet pretty much consisting of bentonite clay drinks, wheatgrass shots and Himalayan salt shots, as well as cryotherapy and infrared saunas, plus five self- administered colonics. But on the last day, Kate always breaks her fast and comes off the detox to celebrate before going home.

“She would have eaten her favourite lamb mince pizza and boozed it up. But that's virtually impossible for the body to take after the detox.

“She would have gone virtually straight to the airport from a restaurant where she had been eating and drinking wine and vodka.”
