Funnyman Trevor Noah has angered Christians.

Noah tweeted Bible verses with quirky twists, but some Twitter followers didn’t take kindly to them, saying he’ll burn in hell.

The comic wrote: “Mark 28v4: And Jesus said ‘If you listen to me then you are my follower, but if you retweet me then disciples you have become.’”

He followed it with: “When Abraham age 99 and his wife Sarah 90 are promised lots of kids, Sarah laughs with God and names her first son Isaac – meaning laughter!”

One of many people, DrASHG, replied: “Trevor NO man shall add or subtract from the bible, hope u burn in hell u bastard!”

Noah hit back by saying: “How Christian of you! SMH (shaking my head)”

@nelikm told Noah: “Exodus 20: ten commandments, You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain.”

Noah replied: “You're a fool if you think God doesn't have a sense of humour. Read your bible before you cast your stones. #RevTrev:” - Daily Voice
