Busabout is expanding its passion for independent travel announcing it will be offering young travellers the perfect freestyle itineraries in Asia in 2015.

Famous for its European Hop-On Hop-Off coach network, Busabout's freestyle travel ethos will launch in Myanmar with the first departure scheduled for March 2015 followed by itineraries in Thailand, Laos, Vietnam and Cambodia.

Trans-Siberian itineraries will also be offered to link up Busabout's new Asian products with their popular European products.

Busabout brand manager, Darsha Soobramoney says “Busabout has been operating in Europe for over 15 years so this is an exciting expansion for the brand.

“Thailand is a very popular destination for South Africans to holiday and with no visa required when visiting Thailand and competitive prices it is the perfect time for Busabout to bring its freestyle travel ethos to Asia”.

Continuing to endorse flexibility and choice, the new programme will include the Thai Island Hoppers with departures scheduled every three days with all East Island departures to coincide with the famous full moon parties in Koh Phangan.

“The Thai Island Flexi-Hoppers have been designed for young aspirational and independent travellers. Not only can our passengers choose their preferred accommodation style but if passengers want to stay longer at an island they can take the next departure which is scheduled three days later.”

Featuring 12 itineraries including a two day Mekong Delta adventure, fourteen day Vietnam experience and the two Thai Island Flexi-Hopper.

Prices start from R3 840 per person on the Thai Hopper East to R38 480 for the legendary Trans-Siberian Adventure.

Travellers can enjoy an Early Bird discount by booking and paying a R1 000 deposit by 15 January 2015 with the balance due on 15 March and take 10 to 20 percent off selected itineraries.

The small group departures allow guests to be independent but never alone as they 'freestyle' throughout Asia. For more information visit www.busabout.com or your ASATA travel agent.
