Johannesburg - Bonwa Phala is a 4 000-hectare game farm at the foot of the Waterberg Mountains and a mere two-hour drive from Joburg, making it the ultimate bushveld-breakaway venue for family getaways and small conference events, hosting up to 20 people.

Visitors can expect to see dangerous game such as buffalo and even the elusive leopard and game such as nyala, kudu, giraffe, zebra, impala and warthog. There is a diversity of fauna and flora and a range of bird life.

Bonwa Phala has been designed with guests’ privacy and solitude in mind. A main lodge with 10 well-equipped chalets, tented bush camp and a conference centre make up the exclusive sanctuary.

Nearby facilities such as Adventures with Elephants and Zebula Golf Estate and Spa allow for a range of activities just 10 minutes from the farm. Among the other activities are white lion interaction, Zebula’s Cheetah Rnu and Snake Park, Anne Van Dyk Wildlife Centre, archery and clay-pigeon shooting, bass fishing, horseback safaris. Travel Club members get a 10 percent discount valid on accommodation only until the end of the year.
