Cape Town - The Robertson Wine Valley can justly claim that their four-day programme ticks all the boxes with its 11th Wacky Wine Weekend, which is set to sparkle from June 5 to 8.

Fun-seekers, party animals, wine novices and connoisseurs are all catered for with Seriously Wine Thursday, Wine-up Friday, Full on Wacky Saturday and Wine-down Sunday. Day visitors can book for masterclasses and gourmet food and wine pairings, or for river cruises, mountain bike challenge and live music gigs.

All can keep needy valley families warm by taking blankets and warm clothing for children and adults when they go; Robertson Wine Valley will reward you with wine according to the weight of your donation, with a maximum of a six-bottle case, weighing about 9kg. (Lighter donations will be rewarded with wine vouchers.)

If you are going in a group, think about using the Buddy Bus or Designated Driver programme as the zero tolerance policy of drinking and driving is strictly enforced.

Above all, enjoy the beauty of the valley, the hospitality of its inhabitants, and the quality and outstanding value of both wine and cuisine.

Families are catered for with a comprehensive range of children’s activities.
