Cape Town - British actor Idris Elba has cancelled his future trip to SA, after requirements to new visa laws failed to give entry to his daughter, the Sowetan Live reported.
The actor was supposed to promote his new film, Mandela, My Dad And Me in the country after his iconic role in Mandela: Long Walk To Freedom.
Elba was set to arrive on Sunday, November 22, with his daughter Isan. Apparently he was ready to board at London’s Heathrow Airport when he was told he could not travel because Isan did not have the correct visa documentation according to SA’s new immigration laws.
