Johannesburg - Join us on board the renewed MSC Sinfonia in March. This is the second of four MSC Cruises ships to enter the Renaissance Programme, an ambitious two-year operation to make these magnificent ships even bigger and better.

The “new” MSC Sinfonia will have more balcony cabins, a greater choice of dining options, dedicated areas for children, larger open spaces, and a specially designed disembarkation bay for zodiac landings. The ship will also have a Spray Park – a fun-packed wet zone with interactive jets, slides and water features.

Day 1, March 7, 2016 – Depart Durban

Be on deck for the sail-away party as the ship sets out for Portuguese Island.

Day 2 – Maputo

In Maputo, capital of Mozambique, landmarks include the imposing Central Railway Station, which enables visitors to shop at the markets, and visit museums and restaurants serving the best prawns and peri-peri chicken.

Day 3 – Portuguese Island

Portuguese Island is an uninhabited natural paradise, a protected reserve with unspoilt beaches. As the ship’s chef prepares a beach braai, relax on the beach, swim in the warm Indian Ocean or quench your thirst at the MSC Island bar. Optional excursions include snorkelling, kayaking or a trip to neighbouring Inhaca Island.

Day 4 – At Sea

A full day at sea to spend exploring this magnificently renewed ship or to relax on the pool deck.

Nights are a dazzling experience, with floor shows, cabaret artists, comedians, dancers, magicians and live entertainment performing every night at sea. The casino offers blackjack, roulette and slot machines, and the disco is open until the early hours.

With three meals a day and with midnight snacks and tea and pastries being served at intervals, the waistline will be your only concern as the MSC Sinfonia sails back to Durban.

Included in your fare:

l Three meals a day and midnight snacks.
